The municipal campsite of the Tower

Located on the banks of the Loire River between Nantes and Angers, one hour from the Atlantic Ocean, Camping de la Tour offers 67 pitches along the Loire à Vélo cycle route.

Close to the town and the train station, it welcomes you in a green setting from Thursday, May 1st to Tuesday, September 30th, 2025.

The campsite's natural setting on the banks of the Loire River offers campers a relaxing time.

The 67 grassy, ​​shaded pitches are available for campers with tents, caravans, and motorhomes.

A motorhome service area is available within the campsite and in the town center. The campsite offers services such as:

- Electrical hookup with plug adapter

- Use of the washing machine and dryer

- Duvet and blanket rental

- Sale of basic necessities

- Sale of postcards and envelopes

Pets are welcome under the responsibility of their owner and with due respect for other campers.

Facilities: Free Wi-Fi, RV service area, children's playground, pétanque court, table tennis, picnic tables, washing machine and dryer.

For cyclists on the Loire à Vélo route: microwave, refrigerator and freezer, and a marquee equipped with tables and chairs.

Not to mention the lively village with its many shops, bars, and restaurants (mini-market, designer boutiques, local produce). Every Sunday morning, enjoy the market on Place du Havre and its twenty or so exhibitors.

Also discover the Chêne lake, which is livened up in the summer by the "Le GRAMOPHONE" open-air café, with entertainment and concerts offered throughout the season.

Le Campétoile, unusual accommodation

The Campétoile is ideal for lightweight travelers: hikers, cyclists, kayakers, etc., and for an unforgettable experience at the La Tour campsite.

Sleep under the stars in this cabin for 1 or 2 people, built on stilts. This very comfortable accommodation for two people features several living areas:

- a bedroom equipped with comfortable mattresses and pillows, light and electrical hookup, a transparent roof for gazing at the sky and stars, and a blackout curtain

- a beautiful terrace equipped with armchairs overlooking the Loire

- a picnic table sheltered by the cabin

- storage space for bicycles or personal belongings

Bring your own sleeping bag (blankets are available for rental).
